WaterTectonics Employee Spotlight: Branden Johnson

Meet our #EmployeeSpotlight, Branden Johnson. Branden was born and raised in the north Seattle area. From a young age, he enjoyed building things. Whether it was elaborate LEGO contraptions equipped with motors and blender parts to creating fully functional robots winning 1st place at science fairs, Branden loved the creation process, and that passion propelled him into the construction industry building and remodeling homes.

Branden joined the WaterTectonics team in 2010 first as a Field Technician for several months before transitioning over to the manufacturing department as a Hydraulic Fabrication Lead where he oversaw the building and assembling of water, pneumatic, and chemical plumbing. He soon worked his up at the company as Manufacturing Supervisor before securing his current role of Manufacturing Manager in 2019. As Manufacturing Manager at WaterTectonics, Branden oversees operations and manufacturing of all water treatment systems; coordinates resources and activities for the manufacturing team to produce quality products; and enforces company health and safety standards to ensure all employees go home safe to their families each day. Branden has his Business Administration degree from Edmonds College, earned his Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (ICGB) certification from Purdue, and holds an edX certification in leadership.

When not working, Branden enjoys camping, biking, spending time with his wife Kristin, and constructing LEGO builds with his two young sons.
