WaterTectonics provided a custom, containerized treatment system to support a groundwater remediation project in the Mountain West. The project focused on removing uranium and other metals from groundwater as part of a legacy cleanup effort.
Designed for a remote location, the 8 GPM system integrates chemical treatment, bag filtration, and a slant plate clarifier. The treatment process was engineered to meet stringent performance requirements while maintaining consistent, reliable operation under challenging field conditions.
Given the historical significance and regulatory sensitivity of the site, the project required extensive documentation, rigorous quality control, and careful coordination throughout design, fabrication, and deployment. WaterTectonics worked closely with project stakeholders to ensure all technical, safety, and compliance standards were met at every stage. The system was fully containerized for ease of transport and deployment and solely powered by solar energy to support continuous operation in an off-grid application.
As noted by the project’s engineering point of contact: “WaterTectonics’ team is top notch. They have been a pleasure to work with during the design, manufacturing and field commissioning phases. They even diagnosed and fixed complex wiring issues in the field with ease, and their expertise and calm demeanor made a lasting impression. You’ve got a fantastic crew.”
