Modeled after the Pearl District in Portland, The Spring District is a 36-acre environmentally sustainable, transit-oriented, mixed-use urban neighborhood currently under construction in Bellevue, Washington. The 16 city blocks will feature commercial, residential and retail tenants, including hotels, restaurants and diverse local shops. In total, there will be over 5.3 million square feet of space in buildings ranging from six to 12 stories. WaterTectonics provides 1,000gpm of on-site Chitosan-Enhanced Sand Filtration (CESF) treatment during Phase 1 of work. During phase 2, construction of an 8-story apartment/mixed use space in the Spring District of Bellevue, Washington resulted in site stormwater that needed to be treated. WaterTectonics provided an AcistBox mobile stormwater treatment system and media filtration to meet our client’s water quality requirements. In addition, WaterTectonics continued client support by providing project permitting.
