“The Eight” is one of Skanska’s newest projects. Located on the corner of 108th Avenue NE and NE 8th Street in downtown Bellevue, Skanska plans to develop a 500,000+ square foot, 25-story office tower with 5 underground parking levels and approximately 850 parking spaces. In addition, the building will also house roughly 12,000 square feet of ground floor retail space. The project will target LEED Platinum and Wired Platinum certifications. Construction is currently underway with the project is scheduled to be completed in the fourth quarter of 2023.
Skanska brought in WaterTectonics to procure permits (NPDES, KCIW), write the SWPPP and Turbidity Monitoring Plan. To ensure compliance with these permits, WT is providing a chitosan enhanced sand filtration (CESF) and granular activated carbon (GAC).
