The Seattle Center Arena project consists of renovating the existing arena and associated improvements to create a modern, multi-purpose entertainment and sports center that will host NHL and NBA sporting events. Specific construction phases include demolition, shoring and excavation, tunnel construction and groundwater well point dewatering.
Encore Environmental, consultant to general contractor Mortenson, handled on-going environmental oversight for the project. They reached out to WaterTectonics for custom automated pH dosing and sensing systems for managing storm and process water that was discharged to the combined sewer system.
