WaterTectonics completed an on-site field pilot for Pacific Rubiales Energy, processing oil field wastewater at a rate of 300 gallons per minute. WaterTectonics competed with over 20 companies in the bidding process and was only 1 of 4 companies to secure a funded on-site pilot. The pilot projects were conducted to narrow selection for multiple 500,000 barrel per day oil field wastewater processing plants. As a country, Colombia is pursuing multiple initiatives to protect their biodiversity and create synergistic relationships between the energy industry and the environment.
