A national oceanographic wetland restoration firm, was developing a port location on the Columbia River. The new location was on a remediated former milling site with legacy contamination in river sediments. The sediment dewatering generated high turbidity and contaminated water that needed to be treated onsite prior to being returned to the river. WaterTectonics defined treatment chemical protocol and deployed an AcistBox for dosing control automation and real-time water quality monitoring. The system performed at 600gpm with zero non-compliant discharges.
