When a pet food manufacturing facility needed additional wastewater treatment capacity on short notice, WaterTectonics rapidly mobilized and deployed a temporary rental system to help the facility maintain production while meeting discharge requirements. The treatment system was designed to address BOD and COD, pH, phosphorus and other wastewater constituents associated with the manufacturing process.
The temporary treatment process included screening to remove larger solids, chemical treatment and pH adjustment, followed by dissolved air flotation (DAF) to separate suspended solids and filtration for final polishing. By quickly deploying a flexible treatment solution, WaterTectonics helped the facility maximize production while maintaining environmental compliance.
