Pacific Recycling – Industrial Stormwater

As part of a major capital upgrade that doubled the size of their operation and significantly expanded their shredding capabilities, Pacific Recycling also installed an advanced stormwater treatment system to handle higher volumes from their new facility. The treatment system utilized WaterTectonics’ WaveIonics electrocoagulation system, settling tanks, media filtration, and automated pH control. It also featured an automated water quality system that reads real-time turbidity and pH values and only allows discharge of water that meets user-defined criteria. The system helps the client reduce Total Suspended Solids (TSS) and heavy metals (Copper, Iron, and Zinc) in their stormwater discharge.
