In 2011, WaterTectonics designed and installed an automated 300gpm treatment system to include electrocoagulation (EC), pH adjustment, clarification, and media filtration. Due to client site modifications and revised permitting, the system was replaced with a new updated EC system operating at 500gpm and granular activated carbon (GAC) vessels were added to meet trace metals compliance. The original system was relocated to operate at one of the client’s other facilities. WaterTectonics currently has treatment systems operating at five of their facilities.
