Recently, WaterTectonics was contacted by general contractor Exxel Pacific for water management support at their Gateway Apartments build site in Issaquah, WA. Exxel Pacific recognized early the need to protect the adjacent wetland, creek and nearby Lake Sammamish from contamination during this controversial development.
WaterTectonics deployed an AcistBox chitosan enhanced sand filtration (CESF) system to treat both groundwater and site stormwater. The automated system provided real-time water quality monitoring and performed at 650gpm with zero non-compliant discharges.
