The Amgen waterfront campus in the Interbay community of Seattle, WA was purchased to be the new headquarters for Expedia Inc. The online travel company giant relocated in 2019 to the 40-acre campus with 750,000 square feet of existing buildings along the shores of Elliott Bay. The project’s General Contractor, GLY Construction, reached out to WaterTectonics for help treating construction site stormwater to meet Administrative Order discharge limits due to historic contamination of petroleum products PAHs and VOCs .
WaterTectonics provided a 400gpm WaveIonics electrocoagulation (EC) system with automated controls and an alert notifications package to meet surface water discharge limits in this environmentally critical location.
