An AcistBox (Automated Chemical System Treatment) was installed in 2016 to reduce iron discharge levels in site stormwater runoff at a power generating station in California. Polymer treatment, pH adjustment, clarification, and media filtration to 20microns are part of the automated treatment process. The treated water is monitored and recorded for discharge compliance. Automated recirculation/discharge valving ensures non-compliant water is returned to source.
