WaterTectonics was contacted by Granite Construction for help treating water at the Bucklin Hill Bridge Project in Silverdale, WA. The project will increase traffic capacity, improve the flow of traffic through Silverdale and provide wider sidewalks with scenic overlooks for pedestrians. The new bridge will enhance tidal exchange which strengthens the Clear Creek Estuary and improves fish habitat.
In order to treat turbidity and pH, WaterTectonics mobilized a 300 gallon per minute electrocoagulation (EC) system along with a 10,000 gallon poly tank to meet permit limits and protect the receiving waters crews were working in.
