Emery & Sons Construction, an industry leader for underground utilities, was completing a hydrostatic test for strength and leaks on a new seven mile water supply pipeline constructed of cement lined steel pipe. Pipe dewatering required treatment of the hydrostatic test water due to elevated pH. WaterTectonics was contacted for treatment options. A PhatBox system was deployed and allowed for automated pH adjustments as well as real-time water quality monitoring. The system successfully performed with zero non-compliant discharges.
