Sellen Construction is currently undertaking the build of a new, two tower office project in Bellevue, WA. The project will be developed in two phases. Phase one, a 43 story office tower with underground parking, is underway. Phase two will demolish the existing Bellevue Corporate Plaza for a new 33 story office building slated for completion in 2024.
WaterTectonics was brought in to write both the Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPP) and Turbidity Monitoring Plan for the project. Sellen also hired WT to handle site permitting including: National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES), King County Industrial Waste (KCIW) and City of Bellevue Discharge Authorizations. WT is currently treating the construction site stormwater with a 100 gallon per minute WaveIonics electrocoagulation (EC) system followed by granular activated carbon to meet NPDES/CSWGP and Administrative Order discharge requirements.
