Bellevue 600 - Construction Stormwater

Sellen Construction is undertaking the build of a new, two tower office project in Bellevue, WA. The project will be developed in two phases. Phase one, a 43-story office tower with underground parking, is underway. Phase two will demolish the existing Bellevue Corporate Plaza for a new 33-story office building slated for completion in 2024. WaterTectonics was brought in to write both the Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPP) and Turbidity Monitoring Plan for the project. Sellen also hired WaterTectonics to handle site permitting.

WaterTectonics is currently treating the construction site stormwater with a 100gpm WaveIonics electrocoagulation (EC) system followed by granular activated carbon to meet NPDES/CSWGP and Administrative Order discharge requirements. In addition, Sellen hired WaterTectonics to handle daily turbidity monitoring during the wet season as required by City of Bellevue.
