Bakery Wastewater – pH Adjustment System

Oregon, USA

Bakery Wastewater - pH Adjustment System

This bakery operation was required to deploy a pH adjustment system for their wastewater discharges due to changing regulations and fines associated with pH exceedances. The client conducted equipment cleaning and other activities that sometimes resulted in water with high pH and other times resulted in water with low pH. WaterTectonics worked as a subcontractor to the client’s preferred consulting firm to conduct bench testing, design a system that could fit within a small exterior footprint, and ultimately build and install the system at the client’s facility. The system utilized multi-stage pH monitoring, mechanical mixers for homogenous blending, and automated valves to ensure that discharged water met pH requirements.
