Argentina – Produced Water Treatment

Our Argentinian oil & gas client was looking for help in lowering production costs by decreasing the amount of polymer used in their enhanced oil recovery operations. The water our client was using for polymer flood injection had high levels of oil and solids that increased the amount of polymer they needed to use. WaterTectonics designed, engineered, manufactured, and commissioned a train of equipment; including electrocoagulation (EC), chemical treatment, pH adjustment, dissolved air flotation (DAF), media filtration, and micro filtration; treating 4,000 cubic meters per day significantly reducing the turbidity and oils in the water resulting in the use of less polymer and overall cost savings.
