Stormwater Awareness Week is a collaboration effort of the storm water community that exists to provide an opportunity for earning professional development credits free of charge. Two WaterTectonics team members lead workshops at this year’s event.

Steve Green (Business Development) led a workshop on Tuesday, September 28, 2021 entitled: “Uh oh, I’m over my permit limits… now what? Nine sites that got it fixed, and how you can too.” This workshop provides an overview of both the how and the what of stormwater treatment. On the how side, from a do-it-yourself approach to hiring consultants, we will cover the pros, cons and tradeoffs between each approach. On the what side, we will cover a range of treatment approaches from passive to active, and then delve into the various types of active treatment technologies to consider for your site.

On Wednesday, September 29, 2021 TJ Mothersbaugh (Business Development Manager) led a workshop entitled: “Industrial Stormwater Treatment: The Top 5 Pitfalls to Avoid!” In this workshop he shares his perspective on installation of industrial stormwater treatment systems and the Top 5 most common pitfalls to avoid when starting a new project.
