James Mothersbaugh
Mr. James Mothersbaugh is the Founder, CEO, and Chairman of the Board of WaterTectonics. Jim has been active in environmental applications for 30+ years with experience in sewage treatment, marine processing, agriculture, fishing, pulp and paper, construction, mining, and oil & gas industries. Jim’s career emphasis has been in the field of electrochemistry, with a focus on developing innovative technologies for advanced water treatment. Jim’s career experience includes new product development roles at FMC Corporation and Senior Estimating and President positions at Seattle-area industrial and commercial construction firms. Jim serves as a Board Member at the Washington Clean Technology Alliance and is a past Trustee of the Associated General Contractors of Washington State. Jim holds a BS in Chemistry from the University of Washington.
Jason Mothersbaugh
Mr. Jason Mothersbaugh is the Vice President and General Manager of WaterTectonics. Jason leverages 15 years of executive leadership experience within the technology and manufacturing industries in helping the Company identify and strengthen the value of the WaterTectonics brand. His leadership experience spans sales, marketing, business development, technology service management, and strategic planning. Jason’s career has been largely focused on project delivery of technical systems, product manufacturing, management of professional services, and strategic market development . Prior to his tenure at WaterTectonics, Jason served as Senior Director for Scope Networks, where he was responsible for developing the infrastructure of a start-up service organization, managing $20 million in P&L, and for growing the employee base by more than 100 people in three years. At T-Mobile, Jason was selected to establish a Project Management Office (PMO) within T-Mobile’s fastest growing division during his tenure. Jason also served as Program Manager and Advisor to the Wireless and Enterprise market segments for Nortel Networks and was responsible for the completion of the largest network replacement of a competitor’s wireless network in North America. Jason received a Bachelor’s degree in Communications from Denison University in Granville, Ohio. He is certified in project management under the Stanford Advanced Project Management (SCPM) program at Stanford University. Jason also holds a PMP certification from the Project Management Institute.
Kirt Montague
Mr. Kirt Montague is the Founder and CEO of Plum Energy LLC. He is a recognized business leader and visionary in the clean technology sector whose companies have gained attention from Inc Magazine, CNBC, and Seattle Business Magazine. Kirt founded and served as CEO of Prometheus Energy Group, a vertically integrated energy company that helped establish distributed scale, “mini-LNG” projects as an important niche in the expanding natural gas marketplace. During his tenure, Kirt raised over $72MM in funding and eventually sold the company to the Shell Technology Venture Fund. Kirt also co-founded and operated a boutique law firm based out of Bellevue, Washington which specialized in entity formation, mergers and acquisitions, financing, and corporate control. Kirt is the current Chairman of the Board at the Washington Clean Technology Alliance, is an Advisory Committee Member for Sustainable Business Practices at Bellevue College, and is past President of the BYU Management Society in Seattle. Kirt holds a BS in Business Management and Finance from Brigham Young University and a JD in Law from University of Michigan Law School.
Jeff Rose
Mr. Jeff Rose is the Director of Project Solutions for WaterTectonics. Throughout his career, Jeff has continually established himself as a team leader, having managed regional, national, and global sales & field operations teams. His experience includes project management, systems engineering, and installation of complex water treatment equipment packages in temporary and permanent facilities across multiple industries. From early treatability studies and field pilot programs, through design & implementation of full-scale water treatment systems, each project in construction, oil & gas (produced & flowback), mining, and industrial waters has its own unique challenges. He has implemented project solutions and deployed field service programs from the ground up that have significantly contributed to ongoing customer satisfaction.
Brad Wiens
Mr. Brad Wiens is the owner of Vantage Point Advisors LLC, a Bellevue, WA based firm that provides interim and contract financial management services. Brad served as Chief Financial Officer at Sun Gro Horticulture for nearly 10 years, where he managed public reporting, strategic planning, acquisitions, an Initial Public Offering, treasury, risk management, multinational accounting, human resources and information technology. Sun Gro sales grew from $73M to $222M during Brad’s tenure and operating income increased eight fold. Sun Gro was acquired in 2011. Brad is currently on the board of The Lighthouse for the Blind, Inc. and is a past board member of Plum Energy LLC. He has been active in professional organizations and is a former board member and President of the Washington State chapter of Financial Executives International.

Simon Keen
Mr. Simon Keen was Senior Executive Business Development within the Omzest Group, a diversified business conglomerate in Oman based in Oman, prior to his return to the United Kingdom in mid 2020. The role covered existing businesses within the group and investigating new opportunities for investment in the Middle East, Europe, China and the United States. Prior to his time in Oman, Simon was based in Bahrain again working for a major conglomerate looking after their branded businesses. In the UK, he has worked in the automotive industry for a major manufacturer, troubleshooting underperforming businesses. Simon currently resides as director on four other companies in both the UK and the United States.
