Services

In addition to designing and manufacturing treatment systems, WATERTECTONICS also provides support on the implementation of treatment systems. This includes an array of services ranging from permitting, monitoring, treatability studies, operator training, and more. WATERTECTONICS staff has over 25 years of experience working with regulators on permitting and water quality compliance issues. We can walk you through your specific site needs as dictated by site activity, discharge location, receiving waters, and regulatory limits. Our expert staff can also perform treatability studies for sites with complex waste streams in order to determine what treatment approach is needed. When necessary, WATERTECTONICS provides system operator training for both Chitosan Enhanced Sand-Filtration (CESF) and WaveIonics electrocoagulation systems.

Notice of Intent (Application for NPDES Coverage) Industrial & Construction

Industrial sites and construction sites disturbing more than one acre are required to apply for an NPDES permit. Most sites are covered under general permits, but if you have a particularly large site, complex waste stream, or are in a sensitive area, you may need an individual permit. If you already have a permit, we can help expedite the renewal and recommend measures to meet new compliance limits.

Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPP)

Sites and facilities subject to NPDES coverage are required to prepare a site specific SWPPP. WATERTECTONICS has prepared hundreds of SWPPPs and can ensure that all your needs are met in this crucial document. This is typically the first item that is asked for during a regulatory site visit.

Enhanced TESC/SWPPP Plans

Many jurisdictions are now requiring enhances plans for construction activities extending into the winter months - Wet Weather Plans, Turbidity Monitoring, Wet Season Operating Plans, and Dry Season Extensions are just some of the additional documents you may need to draft.

Regulatory Compliance Monitoring

WATERTECTONICS provides CESCL, field and analytical sampling for all your compliance needs. From weekly evaluation of construction activities to complex analytical sampling for contaminated sites to quarterly monitoring for industrial waste streams, we can handle all of your data collection and reporting needs.

Operator Training

WATERTECTONICS is a Washington State Department of Ecology certified trainer for Chitosan Enhanced Sand-Filtration (CESF) classes. Please call for schedule and pricing information. For those leasing or purchasing a WaveIonics treatment system, operator training is included.
