WATERTECTONICS utilized a multi-phase treatment approach for remediation and water treatment on this contaminated hazwoper site located on Lake Washington. Electrocoagulation, chitosan injection, pH adjustment, media filtration, hurricane filtration, and carbon filtration technologies were organized across five treatment locations, three of which discharged directly into Lake Washington. The American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC) 2009 Engineering Excellence Awards recognized this project with a Gold award under their environmental category.
