Ravensdale Quarry

Excess concrete slurry dumped on-site migrated to a large decommissioned quarry pond raising the pH of the water to toxic levels. WASHDOT required the 600’L x 100’W x 35’D quarry pond to be emptied and treated before removing slurry. WATERTECTONICS designed, built, and operated a 1500GPM pH adjustment system using CO2 before dispersing to a nearby wooded area.
