The City of Redmond, Washington is well known in the Greater Seattle Area as an environmental leader in the management of stormwater. City officials take a proactive position in order to protect the many creeks and waterways that run through the city and serve as spawning grounds for young salmon. Microsoft’s West Campus expansion was a massive multi-year, multi-contractor project that was going to require significant stormwater management efforts. Prior to this project, WaterTectonics had provided stormwater treatment services for Microsoft’s Issaquah Campus expansion in early 2002-2003. WaterTectonics provided four treatment systems processing up to 1,200gpm for the duration of the project.
