Located in Moses Lake, Washington, Metron is a powdercoating facility that utilizes multiple dip and rinse tanks as part of a material preparation process for the application of powdercoating. Because of strict sanitary discharge requirements in the local region, this facility decided to look at alternative water recycling options for treating their wastewater. Historically, the client had used an ion exchange system, but at a very high operational cost. The new system installed by WaterTectonics operates at 5gpm and includes both WaveIonics electrocoagulation and ultrafiltration systems.
