Since 1923, Seattle Goodwill has provided free programs and services to help low-income and underserved people obtain the skills they need to secure employment and achieve economic self-sufficiency. With the help of project designer, Mithun, and general contractor, Foushee & Associates, Seattle Goodwill is constructing a new Job Training & Education Center at the intersection of Rainier Ave and Dearborn St in South Seattle. The three-story, 50,000 square foot facility is scheduled to open in April of 2013 and will serve more than 900 people. WaterTectonics provided stormwater planning and permitting services in addition to pumping and settling treatment systems during the project.
