Located in the Denny Regrade District of Seattle, Washington, this Class-A 500 foot, 36-floor skyscraper combines 667,000 square feet of office space with additional space for ground-level retail, common areas, and a 6-story underground garage with 584 parking spaces. The combined 860,000 square foot project was built by Sellen Construction over a three year period and required a sanitary discharge of all site groundwater and stormwater. WaterTectonics provided a unique above-grade passive filtration system in combination with an automated pH adjustment system in order to remove settleable solids and adjust pH to sanitary sewer discharge limits. The combined system occupied a total area of 20′ x 8′ and sat on top of a site job trailer essentially resulting in a zero square foot total site footprint.
