The ecoStorm Plus® is a permanent, below-ground water quality system for commercial and industrial storm water treatment designed to remove sediments, heavy metals, and nutrients. Run-off from traffic areas and metal roofs contains significant concentrations of heavy metals and other soluble pollutants. Traditional storm water treatment systems are effective in removing sediments, but have tremendous shortcomings in removing solubles like heavy metals and nutrients (phosphates and nitrates).

The ecoStorm Plus® is the only system with full size laboratory and field test results performed by renowned European universities. The ecoStorm Plus® systems target treatment of storm water to protect outfalls, watercourses, and groundwater. By use of a special porous concrete filter, cost savings when compared to conventional systems are significant.

The ecoStorm Plus® removes both solid and dissolved substances, including: heavy metals (zinc, copper, lead, cadmium, chromium, nickel), hydrocarbons (mineral oils, polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons), and nutrients such as phosphates and nitrates. The ecoStorm Plus® is used in applications such as parking lots, metal roofs (for Copper, Zinc, etc...), industrial manufacturing facilities, commercial/retail developments, municipal/residential drainage improvements, transportation/taintenance facilities, and water quality improvement for ponds and lakes.
